29.Oct.25: Concert goes well…. …and not so well…
The Suffolk Chamber Choir Ipswich Choral Festival concert at Ipswich School went very well.
However, unfortunately just before the Ipswich Chamber Choir Mainly Mozart concert, Belinda tested positive for Covid and had to miss the concert - ironically catching Covid at choir practice.
17.Sep.25: Choir is back…. …and back
Belinda is back at choir this autumn, not only with the Ipswich Chamber Choir as Belinda has also joined the Suffolk Chamber Choir too.
For the Suffolk Chamber Choir, practice is for the Ipswich Choral Festival concert at the Great Concert Hall, Ipswich School, Henley Road, Ipswich on 11th October for a programme including Victoria, Finzi, Holst & Ben Parry.
For Ipswich Chamber Choir, practice is for a concert with The Raedwald Ensemble in St Mary’s Church, Church Road, Coddenham on 25th October for a programme of Mainly Mozart.
03.May.25: Waveney Sinfonia May Concert.
Belinda led the Cello section for the Waveney Sinfonia for their spring concert at St Margaret’s Church, Lowestoft on Sat 3.May, including a wonderful cello solo as part of the Haydn Symphony No. 102 second movement.
23.Apr.25: Upcoming concert with the Waveney Sinfonia.
Belinda will be leading the Cello section for the Waveney Sinfonia for their upcoming concert at St Margaret’s Church, Lowestoft on Sat 3.May, 7.30pm. More information on the Waveney Sinfonia website.
13.Apr.25: The Crafty Fox Cafe Bar music evening - a great success
A wonderfully receptive crowd at The Crafty Fox Cafe Bar on a warm spring evening.
And what a lovely little place with a good selection of beers and wines. Certainly different from the venues that have gone before and nice to see it open again after a long period shut.
Bel played a selection of piano and cello (and a couple of recorder tracks snuck in) intended simply as background for people to drink and chat but each piece was accompanied by appreciative applause from a lovely crowd.
10.Apr.25: The Crafty Fox Cafe Bar music evening - Friday 11th April
Reminder that the next in the cafe bar series is this Friday the 11th April at the The Crafty Fox Cafe Bar in Ipswich.
10.Apr.25: An outstanding ICC performance once again
Bel sang with the ICC at Snape Maltings on Saturday evening, performing Bach’s St Matthew Passion as they completed their Bach cycle. Great performance, well received.
27.Feb.25: The Crafty Fox Cafe Bar music evening - Friday 11th April
The next in the cafe bar series of entertainment is confirmed for Friday the 11th April at the The Crafty Fox Cafe Bar in Ipswich where Bel will be playing a selection of cello and piano pieces.

Another cafe music evening is in the planning with The Crafty Fox Cafe Bar in Ipswich in April. Watch this space for more news on the date.
3.Feb.25: Practice makes perfect
Belinda continues to practice for ICC’s forthcoming performance of Bach St Matthew Passion at Snape Maltings, April 5th 2025.
In addition she is in discussion with a local cafe about a music and cheese evening - likely to be end March so keep an eye out for more news.
